History
Grasped Hollow is a duchy on the eastern border of Central Directionland. The duchy is famous for its Balmeran Mines, a strategically important source of iron, redstone, and diamonds for the Empire.
The Legend of Grasped Hollow tells of a Ghast flying over Monitoring Station Delta—a mythical creature said to exist in the Nether. A large ghast statue in Grasped Hollow is a significant tourist attraction. The lake to the east of Grasped Hollow has been nicknamed the "Wither's Cradle," due to rumors of the site becoming a nest for the Netherkind, at least in another time...
The duchy’s coat of arms contains a pickaxe symbolizing the Balmeran Mines, while the wing symbolizes the flying Ghast legend. The white band and green field represent the pine forest and the snow-covered landscape.
Balmeran Mines
The Balmeran mines are a rich source of ores for Central Directionland. Great caches of iron, redstone, and diamonds can be found beneath the mountains paths.
