Defenders of Mundus

The Defenders of Mundus is an in-world collective term used to refer to the many individuals who rise in defense of Mundus during times of crisis.

In practice, the term serves as a narrative placeholder for the player characters when the story cannot directly address them by name. It was first coined by players on the server and was later absorbed into the world’s lore by the Lorekeeper for use in dialogue, letters, quest text, and historical summaries.

The Defenders of Mundus is not a formal institution. Instead, it is a broad label applied to the player characters as a whole, particularly when they act together against threats such as Dark Energy, Netherkind incursions, and other realm-wide dangers.

All player characters engaged in the main story are considered part of the Defenders of Mundus by default.
