Simonville was originally an independent duchy within the free realm of Directionland before unification. Simonville provided large sums of money and food to the newly established Empire. Its coat of arms features a compass diamond, representing the duchy’s past and present as a transport hub. The wheat represents the importance of Simonville’s vast wheat fields, which feed the Empire.

Mayor Odine currently runs a weekly quest to kill 10 zombies in Simonville's eastern forest to help ease worries for local citizens. Simonville also runs the Event Square, where annual seasonal festivals are held such as Saintsmus, Snowtide, the Rainbow Festival, and the Harvest Festival.
