Little is known about his past, though it’s said he was raised by the High Raven after a fire claimed his family farm. He rarely speaks of it. Instead, he wanders the wilderness with the ease of someone who has known hardship and found peace in the wild. Some call him a protector. Others whisper that he’s a watcher—keeping track of movements and changes no one else sees.

Balrion has been seen aiding the [[Defenders of Mundus]] during moments of great crisis, often appearing just when needed most. He speaks with reverence of the old ways and occasionally references saints and spirits rarely mentioned in the cities. Though he denies belonging to any political faction, he’s recently shown interest in the wellbeing of [[Prince Ethian]] and has expressed concern for the Empire’s fragile future.
