Lukas Battlan isn’t the polished, silver-tongued type of politician—and he likes it that way. Raised in Fort Shagogbot and shaped by the grit of frontier life, Lukas serves as a Member of Parliament (MP) for his home region, where his blunt honesty and no-nonsense attitude have earned him more respect than enemies (though he's got a fair few of those, too).
Fighty, brash, and always willing to speak her mind, Window embodies the many traits of one raised in the eastern frontier. Better known as the former Lady Governor Win of [[Fort Shagogbot]], she was appointed to the role by the Emperor when the outpost was upgraded to a Duchy and held the position for several cycles.

He’s a fierce supporter of the Empire and the Crown, but not the kind to blindly follow orders. Lukas believes in holding the system accountable from the inside, and he isn’t afraid to go digging through dusty archives or closed-door meetings if it means finding the truth. Most days, he’s buried in paperwork or chasing down political leads—some of which are more dangerous than he'd ever admit.
Her family has been in Fort Shagogbot for generations — carving out a foothold in the harsh land since the Fort’s inception. They made their fortune in their holdings of Windownia (Win will sigh if you point out her similar name to it), providing supplies for most of the Fort and surrounding areas, and starting up trade with other neighboring cities in the province. As a result, Win grew up in a comfortable lifestyle, at least for the frontier, but also knows the hardships of farm life and hard work. She obtained ownership of the land after her parents passed from illness when she was a teen.

Despite his gruff tone and occasional curse when a plan goes sideways, Lukas has a dry sense of humor and a quiet loyalty to those he trusts. He’s especially close to Governor [[Window Sapphire]] of [[Fort Shagogbot]], and though neither of them speaks openly about it, their letters suggest more than just political partnership.
Despite her sometimes seemingly rough exterior and the iron fist with which she ran the city, Win has a deep love for the people of Shagogbot, often going to great lengths to ensure the city’s safety and prosperity. Win is also known to be generous — sending aid to other cities in [[Directionland]] when in need. She has a keen interest in politics, though her emotions can occasionally get in the way.

Win has been a long-time part of the [[Defenders of Mundus]], always willing to step in and help in a fight, having spent a year in the Fort's compulsory military service, where she learned to wield a sword and bow. She’s also friends with her city’s MP, [[Lukas Battlan]], often sending letters back and forth to apprise him of the goings-on in the world.

About

Fighty, brash, and always willing to speak her mind, Window embodies the many traits of one raised in the eastern frontier. Better known as the former Lady Governor Win of Fort Shagogbot, she was appointed to the role by the Emperor when the outpost was upgraded to a Duchy and held the position for several cycles.

Despite her sometimes seemingly rough exterior and the iron fist with which she ran the city, Win has a deep love for the people of Shagogbot, often going to great lengths to ensure the city’s safety and prosperity. Win is also known to be generous — sending aid to other cities in Directionland when in need. She has a keen interest in politics, though her emotions can occasionally get in the way.

Win has been a long-time part of the Defenders of Mundus, always willing to step in and help in a fight, having spent a year in the Fort's compulsory military service, where she learned to wield a sword and bow. She’s also friends with her city’s MP, Lukas Battlan, often sending letters back and forth to apprise him of the goings-on in the world.

Notable Traits

  • Often seen surveying Fort Shagogbot from her perch atop the redoubt
  • Wields the Shagogbot Savior
  • Enjoys baking the Fort’s specialty: Shagogbot cookies
  • Once raced the entirety of Ironwood to Fort Shagogbot on horseback to see how long it’d take “for fun"

Rumors

Some say you can hear Win’s voice crying on the wind when a door is left open anywhere in Directionland: “Close the doors!” She may also be aware of some of Directionland’s previous “pasts.”

A Mundus Reborn

Win spent her time fortifying Fort Shagogbot in preparation for the Dark Energy surge attempting to envelope the world. She also worked with Fort Shagogbot's MP, Lukas, via letters to help assess the world situation. In this time, Win became a Defender of Mundus.

Loopbreaker

Win has joined with the Defenders of Mundus to help break the loops and hopefully end Rathsern's growing hold on the land. Currently, along with the Defenders, and several key characters, she is readying to take a portal back to the War of the Empires in the hopes of finding Saint Ranalia's light-infused bow relic, as well as uncovering information about the Order of the Darkened Flame.

Owned Lands

Win is the owner of Windownia, located west of Fort Shagogbot along the DRR rail line.
