Hiro Myste is a solitary adventurer hailing from the tundra west of the Grelian Sea. Those who spend time around him find him quick to tell a joke or a tale of some far off land. Among friends he is loud and boisterous, but among acquaintances he tends to step back and follow the flow of the conversation rather than join it. When not otherwise engaged, he can often be found gazing off into the distance as if in a trance and needing prodding to snap out of.

Though he carries an axe and is seldom seen without a wolf companion, he lacks the dark hair and brown eyes that are common amongst the disparate tribes of Western Directionland. Despite this he was a driving force in the unification of the tribes and their subsequent petition to join the Empire. For his efforts he was unanimously chosen to be the temporary representative of the fledgling West, a position he outwardly shuns though some would claim he is secretly proud of.

She’s also close friends with her city’s MP, [[Lukas Battlan]], often sending letters back and forth~~ to ~~apprise him of the goings-on~~ in the ~~world. Some joke they’re~~ a ~~little ''more'' than friends, especially with the frequency she sends letters and gifts, but Win often denies such things, teasing the relationship as “professionally platonic~~.”		Hiro is often found dabbling in just about everything from construction to farming, mining to potioncraft, smithing to archery. In nearly all his endeavors he has a journeyman's competency though nothing he could truly be said to be excellent in. His eclectic interests lead him to be just as likely to be found in an abandoned mine as he is to be found in the deepest stacks of a library.
